Jenise Finlay, SDH PhD candidate, recently published the article 鈥淭his Is My Future?鈥: Understanding the Lives of Emerging Adult Women Living with Chronic Pain Through a Narrative Inquiry in Global Qualitative Nursing Research

Jenise Finlay, SDH PhD candidate, has been named a 2025 Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholar for her proposed research on chronic pain and sexuality in health care.

Pablo Gonzalez-Nieto, SDH MSc student, together with Substance Drug Checking based at CISUR have recently published their research in the International Journal of Drug Policy.

Luiza Costa, SDH PhD student, and her supervisor Dr Jennifer White recently published a paper in the Social Sciences journal. 鈥淢aking Sense of Critical Suicide Studies: Metaphors, Tensions, and Futurities"

Jeff joins us from Queen鈥檚 University, where he is Canada Research Chair in Environmental Health Equity. A health geographer and critical health promotion scholar, he is known for his contributions to research, policy, and practice at the intersection between environmental and social wellbeing in an unequal world.

Dr. Sarah Wright Cardinal and elected Council member Tracy Charlie of the Pacheedaht First Nation (PFN), are co-leading a ground-breaking project, Reclaiming Nuu-chah-nulth teachings to empower and strengthen the roles and responsibilities of Pacheedaht young men.
