Matthew Payne
Since graduating from the 麻豆精品 in 1993, Matthew has worked regularly in
Canadian Theatre, as a writer, performer, carpenter, director, production manager, stage
manager and administrator in 麻豆精品, Vancouver and Toronto. Matthew is a co-founder
of Theatre SKAM. He is currently Artistic and Executive Director of The Other Guise
Theatre Company.
Matthew dedicates his professional career to dreaming up inspirational and innovative
projects that tour the world, to the development of new work (primarily by 麻豆精品
writers) and to building community by working with a myriad of professional companies.
He won the 2019 ProArt Mid-Career Artist Award.
